Understanding Our By-Laws
Our community by-laws are the formal rules and regulations that govern Maple Glen Housing Co-operative Inc. They are passed by the membership at General Membership Meetings (GMM) and form the foundation of our cooperative living agreement. All members are expected to familiarize themselves with these documents.
Maintenance By-law
Defines responsibilities for unit upkeep, repair request procedures, maintenance standards, and the consequences of non-compliance.

Fire Safety By-law
Sets out fire safety requirements, smoke alarm obligations, equipment maintenance standards, and evacuation responsibilities for all members.
Passed — October 2018
Parking By-law
Regulates parking space assignments, visitor parking policies, permitted vehicles, towing procedures, and enforcement within the community.

Occupancy By-law
Outlines member occupancy rights and responsibilities, housing charge obligations, subletting rules, and unit conduct expectations.

Pet By-law
Establishes guidelines for members keeping pets, including approved animals, registration requirements, conduct standards, and community expectations.
